Mountain biking
Mountain biking is all about getting off-road, whether it’s in your back yard or following a trail through mountains and forest. It’s a sport of endurance, balance and strength.
York is appealing to cyclists in no small part due to its lack of steep hills, but you only have to head a few miles away to the North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Wolds to find challenging terrain much more suitable for mountain biking.
If you'd like to have go at mountain biking but don't know where to start, why not come along and join one of our monthly Dalby Forest rides. See the current led group rides calendar for dates and details.
