Cycling out of York
Cycle out of York and you can connect to the National Cycle Network (NCN), with more than 12,000 miles of designated cycle routes across the UK to explore.
Going north from York on NCN Route 65, travel through Clifton Ings and Rawcliffe Meadows onto the delights of Beningbrough Hall and beyond.
Eastwards from York on NCN Route 66 takes you from Tang Hall into open countryside, through the villages of Murton and Dunnington.
Going south from York, via the Millennium Bridge, discover the Solar System route, a series of planetary sculptures in the landscape. Further south - towards Riccall and Selby - this route links up with the Trans Pennine trail, a 215 mile coast-to-coast route from Liverpool to Hull.
