Families

Cycling with your family is a fun and affordable way to spend time together, as well as an opportunity for you all to get fresh air and exercise. You’ll also be equipping your children with a useful skill for life.

Family Cycling

Family cycle lessons

As part of York's Cycling City project, we are keen to get as many families as possible cycling, or back on their bikes again if they haven't cycled for a while. Taking your family out together for training can really boost your cycling confidence and allow you to explore more of York by bike or even go on longer cycle trips together. A personalised session can be organised at a cost of just £18 for 60 minutes or £23 for 90 minutes and should cover all you need to know.

To book a session, download a form from this page, complete it and return it with payment to the Road Safety Training Coordinator, Sustainable Transport Service,
City of York Council, 9 St Leonard's Place, York YO1 7ET.

For more information on training, please contact (01904) 551646 or contact us via email.
